Refund Policy

At Sahayog Mitra, we value the trust our donors place in us and are committed to maintaining the highest levels of transparency, accountability, and integrity. We work diligently to ensure that every contribution is directed toward making a meaningful and measurable impact through our network of verified NGOs.

However, we understand that there may be instances where donors need clarification or may request a refund. The following policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.


1. Nature of Donations

All donations made through the Sahayog Mitra platform are used to procure and deliver essential goods—such as food, educational kits, hygiene products, and medical supplies—to trusted nonprofit partners. As these donations involve immediate or scheduled deployment of physical items, they are generally treated as final and non-refundable.


2. Exceptions to the No-Refund Policy

Refunds may be considered under specific circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Duplicate transactions caused by technical errors or user input mistakes.

  • Incorrect amount deduction due to payment gateway issues or network lags.

  • Unauthorized transactions (if reported and verified in a timely manner).

In such cases, refund requests must be submitted in writing to info.sahayogmitra@gmail.com within 7 calendar days of the transaction. All claims are subject to verification and must include relevant documentation such as:

  • Transaction ID or payment reference number

  • Date and time of transaction

  • Donor's full name and contact information

  • Reason for requesting a refund


3. Refund Review and Processing

Once a valid refund request is received:

  • Our team will review the case and respond within 3–5 working days.

  • If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.

  • The donor will be notified via email once the refund has been issued.

Please note: We are not liable for any delays caused by banks or payment processors.


4. Donation Modifications or Cancellations

Due to the real-time nature of how donations are processed and fulfilled, we do not offer cancellations or changes to the donation purpose once the transaction is completed. We encourage donors to review their contribution details carefully before confirming.
