Founder of Sahayog Mitra and Sahadeva foundation
Sahayog Mitra was born from a simple yet powerful realization I had over years of working on the ground that there are countless selfless individuals doing incredible work to uplift communities, and yet, many of them struggle due to lack of support. At the same time, there are people who deeply want to give back to society but don’t know where to begin or whom to trust. I started social work when I was 17, and through founding Sahadev Foundation, I witnessed both the needs and the potential of India’s social sector. Sahayog Mitra is my attempt to bridge this gap.
Our mission is to create a collaborative platform where changemakers and contributors can come together where social workers can find resources, guidance, and partnerships, and donors can trust their contributions are making a real impact. The idea is simple: when we support those creating change on the ground, we accelerate progress for all. That’s the spirit behind the name “Sahayog Mitra” – a friend in cooperation because lasting change requires shared responsibility.
I believe that India has both the heart and the strength to solve its biggest social challenges. But no single person or organization can do it alone.
