300+ Children are looking for better future, help them to achieve

In Dhanbad’s coal region, hundreds of children wait for a chance to learn.
Today, we live in a world where everything is advanced and developed. Yet, in this same world, many children still struggle for basic education and even their basic needs. 
Can we truly call ourselves developed if these essentials are missing? Without basic education, how can these children build their tomorrow—or will this cycle just keep repeating?

A 17-year-old boy started an organization called Sahadeva Foundation in 2019, inspired by his grandfather. His mission is to bring children back to education,
believing that education is the only weapon that can truly change their lives. He began by offering free tuition near the coal mining areas, where more than 200 children have joined him. He not only teaches them but also instills motivation and hope, encouraging children to do something meaningful with their lives.

"When I wait for my school bus, I carry a school bag. But I see many children carrying the heavy weight of coal bags," said Harsh.

He began his education center in the open sky, but today he has a proper room where more than 200 children receive free education. 
His work does not stop there—he continues to reach out to many other areas. Through regular stationery distribution programs in tribal regions, he supports children who are in need. He has also set up a computer training center for the tribal community, where young people can access free digital learning.

His efforts go beyond education. During the COVID-19 crisis, he worked tirelessly to provide ration supplies to needy families, reaching more than 10,000 households. He also extended help during floods in several regions, and in winter, he distributed blankets and jackets to protect vulnerable families from the cold.

Harsh said--"Society gives us many things that make our lives easier. But around us, there are many people who are also part of this society — they just need our support and a little help so they too can live with dignity, just like us."

Currently, Harsh runs an education center with 150+ children. His work is not only about education but also about ensuring that children receive nutritious meals. Because without proper nutrition, these children cannot concentrate on their studies. Many of them suffer from malnutrition, so Harsh started a daily feeding program at his center. Every day, he provides a fresh, one-time meal to the children. As the number of students grows day by day, the space in his education center becomes smaller — but his courage never does.
